Morning Light is in the shop from Saturday. Honey, orange and cocoa, our lightest roast yet. Taste it at the bar, or order a bag online and pick it up on your way to work.
Order onlineWhy run Google Business Profile from a conversationClaude writes, Breakreach publishes.
Your Business Profile is what people see when they search for your shop on Google or Maps, and on most profiles the latest update is months old and half the reviews are unanswered, because both mean opening one more dashboard. When the assistant is already writing your Instagram post, the Google version is one more line in the same request, with a button that sends people to order or book, and the week's reviews can be answered in the same conversation.
Nothing runs on your machine. Once a post is scheduled, it publishes from our servers, so Claude can be closed and your laptop can be off.

What you can post to Google Business ProfileAnd how to ask for each.
- UpdateA standard update of up to 1,500 characters, shown in your profile's Updates on Search and Maps once Google has reviewed it. Each location you name gets its own copy.Post an update on our Google Business Profile: Morning Light is in the shop from Saturday
- Update with a photoOne photo per update, the first if you send several. Breakreach converts it to a JPEG under 5 MB; Google asks for at least 250 px on each side. Google's API takes photos for posts, not video, so a video alone is refused.Post it with the launch photo
- ButtonBook, Order online, Buy, Learn more or Sign up, each with the link it opens. Or Call now, which dials the phone number on your profile and needs no link.Add an Order online button to northbeam.coffee/shop
- Review replyThe business's public answer under a review, up to 4,096 bytes. A review takes one reply, so answering again replaces it, and Google checks each reply before it shows.Answer this week's Google reviews and show me the replies first
Let Claude write the Google Business Profile postThen say what to change.
Updates are read by people deciding whether to come in, so ask for the practical part first: what's new, when, and what to do about it. Keep phone numbers and email addresses out of the text, since Google can reject posts that carry them, and let a Call now button do that job. For reviews, ask for short replies that answer what the person wrote, and read them before they go out.

Name a time and the post is scheduled in your workspace's time zone. Or skip the time: use my next free slot puts it in the first open slot of your posting schedule, which is weekdays at 11 AM and 4 PM until you change it in Breakreach. Scheduled Google Business Profile posts go out from Breakreach's servers, so the conversation, the app and your laptop can all be closed.
Post it Friday at 8 AM on all three locations
Put one update a week in my next free slots for the next month
After it's publishedStats, edits and deletions.
How it did
Each update's details show its link on Google and whether Google is still reviewing it. Views, calls and clicks don't come back yet: look at them in your Business Profile. Reviews do: ask any new Google reviews? and the latest 50 of each location come back with their stars, each location's average rating, and the replies already posted, marked pending until Google approves them.
Edit or delete it
Until it goes out, you can change anything from the conversation: move it to Friday, change the caption, turn it back into a draft. A failed post can be fixed and rescheduled the same way. Once it's published, the connector can't edit or delete it on Google Business Profile, and deleting it in Breakreach only takes it off the calendar, so edit or remove a published post in your Business Profile, under Posts.
What Google Business Profile requiresAnd the limits to know.
- A verified Business Profile you own or manage. You sign in with that Google account; if it manages several locations, you tick the ones to connect. Each location counts as one account.
- Posts go out as updates, the posts Google shows in your profile's Updates on Search and Maps: text up to 1,500 characters, one photo and an optional button.
- Google reviews every update before it shows, which can take a few minutes. Event and Offer posts aren't supported yet.
- One photo per update: Breakreach converts it to a JPEG under 5 MB, and Google asks for at least 250 px on each side. Videos aren't posted.
| Spec | Google Business Profile |
|---|---|
| Text | Up to 1,500 characters of plain text. |
| Photo | Optional, one per update. Breakreach converts it to a JPEG under 5 MB; Google asks for at least 250 px on each side. No video. |
| Button | Optional: Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more or Sign up, each with a link, or Call now, which dials the phone number on your profile. |
| Where it shows | In the Updates of your profile on Search and Maps once Google has reviewed it. Updates older than 6 months are archived. |
| Reviews | The latest 50 per location, with their stars. One reply each from the business, up to 4,096 bytes, shown once Google has checked it. |
What it can't do yet
- Event and Offer posts: updates only for now.
- Video: one photo at most.
- Deleting a review: Google doesn't let a business do it. Breakreach can delete your reply, which leaves the review unanswered.
- Questions: Google shut its Q&A API down on November 3, 2025, for every outside tool.
- Reviews of unverified locations, which Google doesn't show to apps.
- Hours, address and other details of the listing, which stay in your Business Profile.
Three things people do with it
- Post the weekend special on every location in one request, each with an Order online button
- Keep the profile current with a weekly update written from the week's Instagram posts
- Answer the week's new reviews in one go, reading each reply in the chat before it's sent
A safe routine for a teamDrafts first, then the calendar.
- Ask for drafts, not postsSay save it as a draft and nothing is scheduled. Drafts land in the Breakreach calendar, where the team can read them, and schedule the draft for Thursday at 9 AM turns one into a post.
- Review in the calendarEvery Google Business Profile post, from Claude, the API or the app, sits on the same calendar with its time, account and media. Open one to edit it or move it.
- Name the brandWith several workspaces, the connector uses your first one unless you name another, so say which brand the post is for.
- Approve each postSet Claude to ask before it acts (details below), so nothing is published without someone clicking allow.
- Know when something failsA post that hits a temporary error is retried up to three times over 30 minutes. If it still fails, it's marked failed in the calendar with a notification, and you can fix and reschedule it from the chat.
- Revoke access anytimeDisconnect the connector in Claude and the assistant can't post any more. Posts already scheduled stay in the calendar until you cancel them.
Using the connector in ClaudePlans, confirmations, phones.
- Which plans have itConnectors from Claude's directory work on every plan, Free included. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner first adds the connector for the organization in Organization settings → Connectors, then each member signs in with their own account.
- Confirmations before postingClaude asks before using a tool, with Allow once or Always allow. In Customize → Connectors → Breakreach → Tool permissions you can set each tool to Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked: for example, reading posts always allowed and creating posts needing approval. Research mode can call connector tools without asking.
- Web, desktop and phoneConnectors work on claude.ai, in the desktop apps and in the iOS and Android apps. Add Breakreach on the web or desktop, and it's available on your phone the next time you log in.
- DisconnectingIn Customize → Connectors, select Breakreach: Disconnect signs Claude out, and Remove in the menu takes it off your account. Posts already scheduled in Breakreach still go out.

Other ways to post to Google Business Profile from ClaudeAnd when they're the better choice.
- Google's own schedulingIn your Business Profile, Add post has a Schedule this post switch, a Repeats menu for weekly or monthly posts, and can share one post on several profiles. Better for events and offers, which Breakreach doesn't post yet. Google Help
- BufferBuffer schedules Google Business Profile posts from its app, and its API and MCP server can create them too. Buffer
- ZapierZapier's Google Business Profile app has a Create Post action, for a post that follows a trigger, such as a new row in a sheet. Zapier
- Copy and pasteAsk the assistant for the text, then post it yourself in your Business Profile. Free and fine for one update, but nothing is scheduled.
When it doesn't workThe fixes for what people run into.
- The update is published but doesn't show on Google yetGoogle reviews every update against its posts content policy before it shows on Search and Maps, which can take a few minutes. The post's details in Breakreach say when Google is still reviewing it.
- “Google rejected this update for a content policy reason”Google refused it under its posts content policy without saying which rule. Phone numbers, email addresses and social handles in the text are a common cause when Google can't tie them to the business. Take them out, add a Call now button, which uses the verified number on your profile, and try again.
- “This Google account doesn't own or manage a Business Profile”You signed in with another Google account than the one that holds the profile. Connect again and pick the right one, since Google asks each time. To reach a client's profile, ask its owner to add you as a manager first.
- A location can't be tickedGoogle hasn't verified it yet, and an unverified location can't post updates or answer reviews. Finish the verification in Business Profile, then connect again.
- My reply to a review doesn't show on GoogleGoogle checks every reply before it shows it, and Breakreach marks the reply pending until then. A rejected reply comes back with Google's reason; reword it and reply again, which replaces it.
- The photo was refusedGoogle needs photos at least 250 px tall and wide. Breakreach converts every photo to a JPEG under 5 MB, so the format and the weight are handled; a small thumbnail is what still fails. Send the original photo.
