Morning Light ships tomorrow. Honey, orange and cocoa notes, our lightest roast yet. The team gets the first bags at the roastery at 8.

Why run Slack from a conversationClaude writes, Breakreach publishes.
The announcement in the team channel is the post everyone forgets, because it gets written after the real work: the release, the blog post, the launch. When the assistant already has the release notes in front of it, the Slack version is one more sentence, and it can wait for Monday morning instead of landing at 11 PM.
Nothing runs on your machine. Once a post is scheduled, it publishes from our servers, so Claude can be closed and your laptop can be off.
Set it up in two minutes.7 steps, once.

What you can post to SlackAnd how to ask for each.
- Text messagePosted in the channel you picked when you added Breakreach, as the Breakreach app. Text longer than 3,000 characters is split into blocks at line breaks, so it all shows.Post this update in #announcements
- Message with photosUp to 10 JPG, PNG or GIF photos, shown under the text in the order you give them. Slack loads each one from its link.Post it with the launch photo
- Video or WebPSlack messages can't hold a video through this route, so a video, or a WebP image, is added to the text as a link people open.
Let Claude write the Slack postThen say what to change.
A channel post is read by people who know you, between two other messages. Ask for the news in the first line and the details after it. Slack's own formatting works: *asterisks* for bold and _underscores_ for italics, and links are clickable as written.

Schedule it instead of posting nowOr let it take the next free slot.
Name a time and the post is scheduled in your workspace's time zone. Or skip the time: use my next free slot puts it in the first open slot of your posting schedule, which is weekdays at 11 AM and 4 PM until you change it in Breakreach. Scheduled Slack posts go out from Breakreach's servers, so the conversation, the app and your laptop can all be closed.
Post it Monday at 9 AM
Schedule the same reminder every Friday for the next four weeks
After it's publishedStats, edits and deletions.
How it did
Nothing comes back from Slack: an incoming webhook answers ok and no message id, so there are no stats, and the message can't be found again by the connector.
Edit or delete it
Until it goes out, you can change anything from the conversation: move it to Friday, change the text, turn it back into a draft. Once it's posted, nothing can edit or delete it through Slack's API, since a webhook message comes back without an id, and deleting it in Breakreach only takes it off the calendar.
What Slack requiresAnd the limits to know.
- Posts to one channel of a Slack workspace you can add apps to. Slack asks which channel when you add Breakreach; connect again for another channel.
- Text alone is fine, photos are optional.
- JPG, PNG and GIF photos show under the text, up to 10. A video or a WebP image is added as a link.
| Spec | Slack |
|---|---|
| Message length | Long text is split into blocks of 3,000 characters at line breaks. Breakreach's composer counts up to 40,000. |
| Media | Optional. Up to 10 JPG, PNG or GIF photos shown under the text. A video or a WebP image goes in as a link. |
| Where it posts | The one channel picked when Breakreach was added to Slack, as the Breakreach app. |
| Formatting | Slack's own: *asterisks* for bold, _underscores_ for italics, ~tildes~ to strike. Links are clickable as written. |
What it can't do yet
- Mentions and @channel: the text is posted as written, so it can't notify anyone.
- Threads and replies: each post is a new message in the channel.
- Several channels from one connection: each channel is connected on its own, and counts as one account.
- Reading the channel: Breakreach only posts.
Three things people do with it
- Post the changelog in #announcements the morning after a release, written from the actual notes
- Schedule the Monday reminder once and stop setting a phone alarm for it
- Send the same launch post to the team channel, LinkedIn and X in one request
A safe routine for a teamDrafts first, then the calendar.
- Ask for drafts, not postsSay save it as a draft and nothing is scheduled. Drafts land in the Breakreach calendar, where the team can read them, and schedule the draft for Thursday at 9 AM turns one into a post.
- Review in the calendarEvery Slack post, from Claude, the API or the app, sits on the same calendar with its time, account and media. Open one to edit it or move it.
- Name the brandWith several workspaces, the connector uses your first one unless you name another, so say which brand the post is for.
- Approve each postSet Claude to ask before it acts (details below), so nothing is published without someone clicking allow.
- Know when something failsA post that hits a temporary error is retried up to three times over 30 minutes. If it still fails, it's marked failed in the calendar with a notification, and you can fix and reschedule it from the chat.
- Revoke access anytimeDisconnect the connector in Claude and the assistant can't post any more. Posts already scheduled stay in the calendar until you cancel them.
Using the connector in ClaudePlans, confirmations, phones.
- Which plans have itConnectors from Claude's directory work on every plan, Free included. On Team and Enterprise, an Owner first adds the connector for the organization in Organization settings → Connectors, then each member signs in with their own account.
- Confirmations before postingClaude asks before using a tool, with Allow once or Always allow. In Customize → Connectors → Breakreach → Tool permissions you can set each tool to Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked: for example, reading posts always allowed and creating posts needing approval. Research mode can call connector tools without asking.
- Web, desktop and phoneConnectors work on claude.ai, in the desktop apps and in the iOS and Android apps. Add Breakreach on the web or desktop, and it's available on your phone the next time you log in.
- DisconnectingIn Customize → Connectors, select Breakreach: Disconnect signs Claude out, and Remove in the menu takes it off your account. Posts already scheduled in Breakreach still go out.

- Slack asks me to request the app instead of installing itYour workspace only allows apps a Workspace Owner has approved. Submit the request; Slack notifies you once it's reviewed, and then you can add Breakreach from Settings again.
- Slack says Breakreach hasn't been reviewed by SlackSlack shows that notice for apps that aren't listed in its Marketplace, which is Breakreach's case today. Breakreach only asks to post in the channel you pick and to read your workspace's name and icon.
