Google Business Profile MCP servers in 2026.No official one, and an access gate.
Google hasn't released an MCP server for Business Profile. Every server that exists is built on Google's Business Profile APIs, which answer nothing until Google approves the Cloud project behind them. Open-source servers need your own approved project; hosted ones, like Breakreach's connector, Buffer, Zernio or Upload-Post, use theirs, and you only sign in with Google.

To post to Google Business Profile from an assistant, use Breakreach. We built it, so here's the case.
Connect Google Business Profile- No Google Cloud project and no access request: Breakreach's project is approved, so you sign in with Google and tick your locations
- Every location you manage in one request, which suits agencies and chains, with Instagram and Facebook in the same request and each location's reviews in the same list as your comments
- Nothing to install: a sign-in from Claude's or ChatGPT's directory, or one URL in Claude Code and Cursor
When to pick something else. Breakreach posts standard updates and answers reviews. For events, offers or performance numbers, Zernio and Upload-Post do more on Google today, and an open-source server does everything Google allows if you already have an approved project.
The kinds of Google Business Profile MCP serverHow each one gets to your account.
No official server
Google ships MCP servers for some of its products, Google Ads and Google Analytics among them, but not for Business Profile. Every Business Profile server is a third-party wrapper over the same REST APIs: the v4 Google My Business API for posts and reviews, Account Management for accounts, Business Information for locations.
Open source, on your own approved project
Servers like narkov/gbp-mcp-server run on your machine with your own OAuth client. They're free, but they inherit Google's gate: until your Cloud project is approved through Application for Basic API Access, every call fails with a quota of 0, as the amirjahfar1 server's README warns. Applying takes a Business Profile verified and active for 60 days or more.
Hosted, on someone else's approval
Breakreach, Buffer, Zernio and Upload-Post run approved Google projects, so you only sign in with Google. What they expose differs: Breakreach posts updates and answers reviews, Buffer posts updates, and Zernio and Upload-Post also post events and offers and handle reviews through their APIs.
Automation platforms
Zapier's MCP server can run its Google Business Profile actions from an assistant, Create Post and Create Reply, one action at a time. Better for one fixed step than for a week of posts across locations.
What Google Business Profile's API lets a server doThe rules every server works within.
- Access approval firstEvery Business Profile API starts at 0 queries per minute. Google raises it to 300 after reviewing your Application for Basic API Access, which asks for a profile verified and active for 60+ days, with a website.
- One scopebusiness.manage covers posts, reviews and listing edits; Google describes it to people as “Manage your Business Profile on Google”.
- PostslocalPosts.create takes STANDARD, EVENT, OFFER and ALERT posts with a summary, photos by URL and a button: BOOK, ORDER, SHOP, LEARN_MORE, SIGN_UP or CALL. Product posts can't be created through the API.
- Q&A is goneGoogle discontinued the Q&A API on November 3, 2025. A server that still lists question tools is out of date.
What Breakreach's Google Business Profile tools doAnd what they don't, yet.
What you can ask for
- UpdatesStandard posts of up to 1,500 characters, shown in your profile's Updates on Search and Maps once Google has reviewed them.
- A photo and a buttonOne photo, converted to a JPEG Google takes, and Book, Order online, Buy, Learn more, Sign up or Call now.
- Many locationsEach location is its own account: name the ones you want in the request, or say all of them.
- SchedulingAt a time you give, or the next free slot of your posting schedule, published from Breakreach's servers.
- ReviewsThe latest 50 reviews of each verified location, with their stars, next to your other comments. The assistant writes a reply, up to 4,096 bytes, and Google checks it before it shows.
Not yet, or not possible
- Event and Offer posts
- Video
- Questions: Google shut its Q&A API down in November 2025
- Deleting a review, which Google doesn't allow: only your reply
- Stats: views, calls or direction requests
- Hours, address and other listing details

What to askThree requests that work on Google Business Profile today.
- “Post an update on all three locations: Morning Light is in the shop Saturday, with an Order online button”
- “Write this week's Google update from my last Instagram post and schedule it for Friday at 8 AM”
- “Answer this week's Google reviews, thank the 5-star ones by name, and show me the replies first”
Questions, answered.
Short answers about Google Business Profile MCP servers.
No. As of October 2026, Google offers MCP servers for products like Google Ads and Google Analytics, not Business Profile. Every Business Profile MCP server is built by a third party on Google's APIs.
Your Google Cloud project hasn't been approved for the Business Profile APIs. Submit Google's Application for Basic API Access; until it's approved every call fails, and a quota increase request won't help.
Yes, through the v4 reviews API. Breakreach's connector reads the latest reviews of each verified location with their stars and posts your replies, which Google checks before they show; narkov/gbp-mcp-server does too, and so do Zernio's and Upload-Post's APIs. No server can delete a review: Google only lets a business delete its reply.
In Claude: Customize → Connectors → Discover, search Breakreach, Connect. In ChatGPT: Settings → Plugins, search Breakreach, Connect. In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http breakreach https://api.breakreach.com/mcp, then /mcp to sign in. Then connect Google Business Profile in Breakreach: sign in with Google and tick your locations.
Yes. Breakreach connects each location as its own account, so one request can post the same update to every location you name. Each one counts toward your plan's accounts.
Creating a Breakreach account and connecting your first social account is free. Scheduling and publishing need a plan, from $29 a month ($23 billed yearly) for 5 accounts.
