TikTok for Business runs its own MCP server for advertisers: campaign management, reporting, audiences and creatives, with about 400 tools and a zero-code setup, per TikTok. It doesn't publish organic videos. ysntony/tiktok-ads-mcp is an open-source take on the same Business API.
Posting through the Content Posting API
Publishing to a profile needs the video.publish scope and TikTok's audit. Until an app passes, TikTok says all its content is "restricted to private viewing mode". Breakreach's TikTok app passed the audit in September 2026, so posts go out with the audience you choose.
Read-only scrapers
nuelcyoung/tiktok-mcp-server opens TikTok's public pages in a Playwright browser, and HasData's hosted server returns what a signed-out visitor sees. They search, read profiles, videos and comments, and never post. TikTok's Terms of Service restrict automated access to the service.
